About Old Tossers
The story of how a group of mates, a shared love of the good old days, and a cheeky name discovered the real superpower of getting older: finally not giving a toss what anyone thinks.
Why “Old Tossers”?
Here's the truth of it: an “old tosser” is what you become when you've finally earned the right not to give a toss. No more worrying what the neighbours think. No more keeping up appearances. Just a generation tossing it all back to the good old days.
The name was coined by our founder Derek over a proper cuppa, reminiscing about penny sweets, Saturday-morning telly and holidays in a caravan that leaked. “We're just a bunch of happy old tossers, aren't we?” he laughed. And so it stuck.
Yes, we know what it sounds like. That's half the fun — and honestly, caring less about what it sounds like is exactly the point. That's the superpower you unlock with age.

Our Mission
Zero Tosses Given
The real superpower of age is caring less about the wrong things. We spent decades worrying what everyone thought — now we just enjoy ourselves.
Community
No one should feel lonely after 60. Old Tossers connects like-minded people who love a good natter, a shared memory, and a proper cuppa.
The Good Old Days
We celebrate the sweets, songs, telly and simple pleasures that made growing up brilliant. Share an old photo and watch the memories come flooding back.

Featured on UK Television
In 2022, Old Tossers caught the attention of UK television producers. Our members were filmed for a daytime show, swapping stories about the good old days, and overnight we went from a small local club to a national talking point.
The segment showed our members reminiscing, laughing, and thoroughly enjoying themselves. Viewers loved it. Membership enquiries poured in from across the country, and Old Tossers became a nationwide community.
Our Journey
A Kitchen-Table Idea
A handful of mates get to chatting about how much better sweets, telly and Saturday afternoons used to be. The idea for a proper nostalgia club is born over a pot of tea.
Old Tossers Founded
The club is officially formed with 12 founding members, all agreed on one thing: we’ve earned the right not to give a toss. The name causes much amusement — and a few raised eyebrows.
UK TV Debut
Old Tossers featured on daytime television swapping stories about the good old days. Membership jumps from 50 to 500 overnight.
The Memory Wall Begins
Members start posting the memories that made them smile — first kisses, first cars, and the smell of their nan’s kitchen. It quickly becomes everyone’s favourite corner.
Going Online
OldTossers.com launches, bringing the community together digitally. The good old days, now just a click away.
